Seeing the joy in other people is my motivation
โ I want to show how easy it is to cook good and nutritious food outside with a single flame.
When I was a child my parents and I often slept in a tent or a wind shelter in the forest. I remember how we always brought our old sooty Trangia stove, on which we warmed tinned ravioli or cooked pasta and meatballs.
The experience wasnโt so much about the food but rather that we spent time together and cooked outside. These moments laid the foundation for my passion.

Today I inspire thousands of meals and moments in nature through my outdoor cookbooks and cooking courses. I want to show how easy it is to cook good and nutritious food outside with a single flame. My driving force is seeing the joy in other people when they discover how fun and easy can be!
A large part of my cooking is about experimenting with techniques and flavours. When I feel inspired by a recipe, I always think of ways to cook it on a Trangia stove and I truly hope this cookbook will inspire you to do that too!
